I don't understand how poeple can go to so many out of school activities and still get their homework done. I can barely get ends to meet when I've got nopthing to do at home. We have so many things due on Monday and Wednesday. It's a good thing I just spent the whole morning doing my homework then. No wait, and I'm still not done!!. Well, I guess I have a lot of things to do as well. One huge thing is NaNoWriMo. I only have 5 pages done, I need to get a move on!!

Watermania
Today we went to go swimming with our PE classes. I went on the diving boards for the first time. It was like at that split moment of freedom in teh air before the dreadful water hits with a slash on contact. My friends and I have been to Watermania alot, and there are things that I must accomplish. I was first on the waterslids for the 700th time today. And we all went to the deep end of the wave pool. It really makes you feel dizzy after a couple of minutes there, floating. But over all, I had a great time.

Extensions Lesson 7
Scenario A
If you were reactive, what might you say?
I might go and talk behind her back. Or I might say that I can't do anything about it, that she's going to be really mean and I just can't stop her, no matter how much I try.
If you were proactive, what would you say?
I would go and ask her why she was saying things like that, or if they were true, or if I can do something better so that it can become a false statement.
Scenario B
If you were reactive, what might you say?
I would say that it's all her fault and that this would have never happened if she did things right, and that I'm no to blame on this one.
If you were proactive, what would you say?
I would keep trying to tell her the reason and explain how it's my fault but also tell her how I feel.
Reflections
Listen this week as a family, and catch each other using reactive language. Be proactive! Talk the talk of someone with self-control.
My mom: I just can go to work and finish that homework for college at the same time!
Me: Oh, yes you can, you just need to organize your time schedule a little better
My dad: There's always people here on Heather St, why can't they park somewhere else?
Me: Well, you're parking here too, maybe we can think of a better place.
My mom: I have to make you dinner now, don't I?
Me: You don't have to, mom, you just decide to. I can do it today, if you like.

So today was quite a busy day. Also got a lot of homework. That's why I did go to the Halloween dance, one, I was scared I was going to get a lot of homework, two, I didn't have anything to wear, adn three, I didn't have the money for the ticket. Oh, well, I can go next time. I think it'll feel very weird go to a dance that I didn't help with. I mean, at Elementary school, my friends and I always hosted the dances. We got everything together and talked to the principle and the parents and the staff. We ran out and bought stuff and decorated the whole place. Well, new experiences, right?

Day of no events
Today, besides the usual, nothing really happened. I went to math, then french, then lunch, then PE, and finally strings. I guess should say nothing fanastic and unique happened today. Oh, there was a skit about the Halloween dance, but I'm not going. Oh, and we teased our friends about liking each other, well, they do that all the time. Lets hope everyday is like this, so no once will have any trouble.

Independent Reading Program
I just found out great information. I don't have to read 5 books for the Independent Reading Program for an A, I just have to get 10 points. And I've already got 3 of that ten points, and I just did a test that gets me 5 points if I got perfect on it. So that'll be 8 points for 2 books. I'm reading my 3 book, and it's worth 3 points, and I'll be dont the Program!! That's great!! And I thought we had to read 5 books, what a nerd. XD

Forever Young
The song Forever Young has been remade by more than ten artists, I think. It's ridiculous, I mean, I love the song, but I just love the first two made. You know, the classics. It just gets boring when so many people sing it.
There is this contest called NaNoWriMo, the National Novel Writing Month, I think. It's a contest, in a way, and you write 50 000 words in a month. So it's like finishing a novel in a month. I learned it from Literature Club,a dn I really want to do it. I'm just not sure if I've got the skill, and time, of course.

Wallace and Gromit
Today I watched a movie about the two unforgettable classic characters called Wallace and Gromit. They are so funny!! I've been watching their movies since I was 8 years old. Though it's a great series, I think they don't make it any more. It's about this Wallace, a hillarious man who is oblivious to everything, and his dog, Gromit, who always gets him out of trouble. Wallace loves cheese and in one of the movies thought that the moon was made out of cheese and went to explore it. They are inventors as well. I'm just throwing in everything I can think of right now. Uh, Gromit is the typical English character, you know, who lives on 71st and takes his paper to work at exact 8:30 every morning, that knid of guy. Except he's a dog. It's really is just a classic.
