About Me

Okay, sup? How you doing? Good! But you're probably here to know about me. I'm Sophie and I'm 15, grade 9, Asian, bla bla bla. I like a lot of stuff! Like books, music, MOVIES (if you want to know which ones, just go down to the bottom)! I want to be a director when I grow up, sooooo fun!! And I've got lots of friends, well, not lots, but a fair bit. People call me hard-working, or just a nerd. I am a nerd, a hard-core nerd, you got a problem with that? Good. I'm also just hard-core, I mean, I've got people's backs, I fight for what I believe in, I say what's on my mind, I don't sway with the crowd. Yeah, anything else? If you have any more questions (Which you probably don't, because you probably know me in real life, and you'll know that Sophie Tribiani doesn't exit, at least I hope I didn't steal someone else's name o.O....) Just read some of my posts, I've got lots!

Book Obsession

I feel like it's really important that you enjoy what you read, because if you don't, why read it then? I love the book I'm reading right now. It's called the Bourne Identity, I'm like speeding through it. It's about this guy, and he was thought to be one of the biggest assassins of all time, involved with a company call Treadstone Seventy-one. But as a result of a freak accident, he lost his memory. To have tremendous skills with lying, false identities, and lethal weapons, you would think he was a well paid assasin. But he's not what he thinks he is, nor does anyone in the story have the full picture. Instead, all having bits of the truth, including him, and quickly jumping to conclusions. It's awesome!!!!

It's actually quite ironic that I'm reading this in the first place. I'm big on movies, I've seen a lot of them, classics, mostly, but others as well. I've just never seen the Bourne series, I don't know why, I mean, I knew it was a huge movie and all, but it never came across my mind to watch it. Now that I think about it, I've seen very little Matt Damen movies, but I have seen him in Ocean's Eleven series (which is also great, much better than the one made 30 years ago). See? I watch a lot of old movies, one's like Casablanca and Gone With the Wind, to Shakespeare in Love and the TITANIC!! And to movies like Ocean's Eleven and Catch Me if You Can. I should really consider a career in directing, no wait, already have, just don't think those kinds of things will ever happen to me. I want to be a director is badly!! But I know that I probably am never going to be one in this life time. But that's okay, a girl can dream.

Quote of the day:
"We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort." Jesse Owens

First of all, he's totally right. And second, remember that book I read before this one? The Book Thief? Well, one of the characters in the book loved Jesse Owens. His name was Rudy Steiner, and when he was small, he wanted to be Jesse Owens. I miss the people in that book.
