About Me

Okay, sup? How you doing? Good! But you're probably here to know about me. I'm Sophie and I'm 15, grade 9, Asian, bla bla bla. I like a lot of stuff! Like books, music, MOVIES (if you want to know which ones, just go down to the bottom)! I want to be a director when I grow up, sooooo fun!! And I've got lots of friends, well, not lots, but a fair bit. People call me hard-working, or just a nerd. I am a nerd, a hard-core nerd, you got a problem with that? Good. I'm also just hard-core, I mean, I've got people's backs, I fight for what I believe in, I say what's on my mind, I don't sway with the crowd. Yeah, anything else? If you have any more questions (Which you probably don't, because you probably know me in real life, and you'll know that Sophie Tribiani doesn't exit, at least I hope I didn't steal someone else's name o.O....) Just read some of my posts, I've got lots!

Extensions and Reflections

Extensions Lesson 19

Reflections Lesson 19

How can you help each other continue to think and practice win-win?
If we think and practice win-win, then every one will win. Every one will be able to get what they want and yet no one will be left behind. I think it's the greatest way to do things, but sometimes you just can't get a win-win situation, so I think when you do, you should be thankful. I also think that people today don't think about being thankful when you do have win-win situations, but maybe that can change, or maybe I'm wrong in the first place.

My usual blog:
So, today we had the math contest, and it was so hard!! The first page or so is nice and fun, and easy, but as it evolved, it got worse and worse until I had no idea what it was trying to ask! I hope I didn't get that bad of a score, but I guess it doesn't matter that much because getting into Enriched Math 9 is more on the teacher's recommendation and your usual behaviour in the classroom, and I think the teacher likes me and I do contribute in the classroom.

Also, Tiffany and I had a long talk about the Mortal Instruments series and the next book coming out on March of 2011, and it was so fun. We have the same perspectives for the book and yet it's still interesting because we like different characters. Any way, it was just really great to talk to someone who loves the book as much as I do, because back in Elementry, I couldn't find any one like that.

Okay, so Percy Jackson was SOOOO good!!! It was absolutely wonderful, shorter than the book, but much better! It was so awesome, I couldn't even find words to express it. Lets just say that crazily awesome is under stating it. And the actors are great for their roles. Plus it was really funny and it does a good job of mixing the ancient world with our world.

Shutter Island, huh? Leonardo DiCaprio's new movie looks scary!! I want to see it, but I'm also a little hesitant, it really is scary.

Quote of the day:
"Cinema is a matter of what's in the frame and what's out." Martin Scorsese

Every one, bow to the master!!
