About Me

Okay, sup? How you doing? Good! But you're probably here to know about me. I'm Sophie and I'm 15, grade 9, Asian, bla bla bla. I like a lot of stuff! Like books, music, MOVIES (if you want to know which ones, just go down to the bottom)! I want to be a director when I grow up, sooooo fun!! And I've got lots of friends, well, not lots, but a fair bit. People call me hard-working, or just a nerd. I am a nerd, a hard-core nerd, you got a problem with that? Good. I'm also just hard-core, I mean, I've got people's backs, I fight for what I believe in, I say what's on my mind, I don't sway with the crowd. Yeah, anything else? If you have any more questions (Which you probably don't, because you probably know me in real life, and you'll know that Sophie Tribiani doesn't exit, at least I hope I didn't steal someone else's name o.O....) Just read some of my posts, I've got lots!

60s Movies

Just watched the old Ben Hur and Cleopatra, which are both really actually funny and like you know how movies were back then, there wasn't much special effects, so it was all talking. And not talking in usual manners, but like really, really, cheesy talk. And when there is actual battle and stuff like that, it's so cheesy and fake as well. I just say that because I hate Elizabeth Taylor, and I don't have much of a particular reason as to why I hate her. And Ben Hur is okay, but still, I watched the Ben Hur Miniseries from this year on CBC last week, and it was absolutely awesome, gave me a horrible impression on the original. And, oh wait, apparently they did an animated version in 2003, which is even weirder. But here's the trailer for the miniseries, and I really like it. It's not in theatres, no duh, and you'll have to try and catch it on TV, which is hard because I think they already played it. But here's the trailer any way:

Quote of the day:
"A grown man knows the world he lives in. For the moment, that world is Rome." Ben Hur (1959)

So cheesy, right? No, there's worse.
