About Me

My photo
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Okay, sup? How you doing? Good! But you're probably here to know about me. I'm Sophie and I'm 15, grade 9, Asian, bla bla bla. I like a lot of stuff! Like books, music, MOVIES (if you want to know which ones, just go down to the bottom)! I want to be a director when I grow up, sooooo fun!! And I've got lots of friends, well, not lots, but a fair bit. People call me hard-working, or just a nerd. I am a nerd, a hard-core nerd, you got a problem with that? Good. I'm also just hard-core, I mean, I've got people's backs, I fight for what I believe in, I say what's on my mind, I don't sway with the crowd. Yeah, anything else? If you have any more questions (Which you probably don't, because you probably know me in real life, and you'll know that Sophie Tribiani doesn't exit, at least I hope I didn't steal someone else's name o.O....) Just read some of my posts, I've got lots!

NIgaHiga

Okay, if you've ever been online, or have friends, you would probably know who NigaHiga is. He's this cool guy on Youtube that is, oh so hillarious. I'm really beginning to like his videos, which is weird because, because, well I don't know why but it just is. So to anyone that knows what Youtube is, which every one SHOULD know what Youtube is, please search up NigaHiga the next time your there, you will not be sorry. Well, maybe you will be sorry because maybe your cat died or something but otherwise you have no reason to be sorry, you got it? So if you think you can not be sorry instead of being sorry, then search up NigaHiga the next time you're online!!

Quote of the day:
"I believe people can move things with their minds." Justin Timberlake

Well, I don't, I don't know any one who does, so yeahhhhh. Happy 67th birthday, yeah! Hey, Justin, have you searched up NigaHiga yet, or are you just too busy working on SNL, because that's on Youtube too!!

Today

Today I seemed to have a knitting and Friends marathon. I think more than 20 episodes of Friends with my way on to my seventh scarf, with a really cool design. I think of it as really relaxing, but right now I just noticed that I did none of my projects yet. Well, every one is started, but none is finished. Well, can you blame me? I have to ask Zoe to print my science fair stuff on Monday, so I can't work on that right now, Winnie's working on the religion project, and I don't want my work interferring with hers, like overlapping and stuff, and I tried to reduce the words in my God presentation and I practiced a little. But I guess most of it is not in my power, but I hate procrastinating, it gets me weird and worried about stuff, it's just not a good feeling, I don't get how others do it!

Quote of the day:
"An actor should never be larger than the film he's in." Christian Bale

Not true, my friend, happy birthday, Christian Bale!!

Gymnastics

Oh NO! We're going to do gymnastics next week in PE, which is horrible because that's the thing that I suck at the most, I haven't done a cartwheel in my life!! I could barely even do a summersalt!! I'll fail!!

Today I went to the library and didn't get any books. I got tired at PE, like always. We had the test on Mozart for Strings, which I think I did pretty well on. There was nothing much for Math, just getting ready for CNML, a math contest we do if we want to get into Enriched Math 9, so yeah, nothing really happened today. Oh, I found out that Woody Allen did indeed get an Oscar, and Gregory Peck is really getting old, or is dead already.... Anyways, nothing much happened today. But I've got three projects I have to do, the religion project in Socials, Science fair and the god presentation in English, so I'll see you later.

Quote of the day:
"Biology is the least of what makes someone a mother." Oprah Winfrey

Haha, happy birthday Oprah Winfrey!! Oh, yeah, and it was Ellen's birthday on the 26th, so happy birthday to her too. She's 52, can you believe it??

Story planning

Today at lunch and while we knitted in Applied Skills, Nancy, Allison and Angel and I started talking about my book about this other world and stuff. They have a lot of really good ideas, I didn't even know! Well, any way, the book is really complicated, yeah, but I think I can do it, with their help, of course. I mean, now that I have found out that they actually have good ideas, I'm not letting them go! They have to help me, and edit and everything. In exchange, I'll dedicate the book to them and put them strongly in the acknoledgements, if it ever gets published. I just hope it's not like my first book. My first book, while I was writing it, I thought was really good. Then I look back now and feel like it was horrible, I didn't know what drove me to think that it was actually good. Any way, I just hope this is better than that, I really like this series, and I don't want to look back and hate it, so yeah. I really want to be published!! Hopefully one day it'll happen.

Quote of the day:
"I can be shy when I talk to women. I'm a shy dude." Bick Carter

Backstreets back, alright!! Happy, what, 65th birthday, is it?? No, I'm just kidding, he's like, 40.

New News from Mortal Instruments

Today there is really nothing to talk about, so I will write a little about the news from the Mortal Instruments series of books. The Italian cover came out, and there's updated photos from the Graphic Novels, but I haven't had time to look at them yet. I saw one of them, and they're not bad. And apparently there's going to be sequels coming out. I knew that there'll be prequels already, but there'll actually be three!! Plus there'll be a movie coming out, hopefully!! I'm so excited! Some of my favourite books takes forever to do anything. Like, The Red Necklace was out a couple of years ago, but the movie rights have just been signed. Anyway, I'm just happy there'll be more to come from this series!!

Quote of the day:
"He is going to make a big sound in the world." Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

He was talking about Beethoven. He was right. Happy birthday!

Fanfictions

I'm really beginning to like the idea of Fanfictions, you know, where people make up their version of a story that's already out there. I love it! I noticed that there is a lot of good writers out there, really. They're really good. And with the stories they've come up with, they're just really fun to read different versions of the same stories, or add ons to them. Maybe I should get an account and post my fanficts too.

Quote of the day:
"We must find a gixed point so that our life will cease to be this perpetual floating." La Petite Bijou

I just saw this on the board in science class, and I liked it so why not put it on here?

NO MUSIC???

On the Socials website, Mr Sale chose a question for this discussion thing that really shocked me, it was: What if the world had no music? WHAT IF THE WORLD HAD NO MUSIC?? What kind of a question is that? It's a freaky question, that's what it is. It's not that the question is bad, or that Mr Sale made a wrong decision for putting it on, it's just that there would be no way the world can go on without music. What would accompany movie and TV scenes? What about Kareoke?? There is no way that I can go on with out music. It's a way for people to express themselves and it's a way of art. I tell you, art and history will be very different if there was no music!! It'll be a horrible world!!

Quote of the day:
"I love my own music." Alicia Keys

See? See? What would birthday girl do without music??

SAGs and Golden Globes

I'm so mad at myself!! Last night was the Screen Actor's Guild, and I know it's not that important, but I just like award shows, and I missed half of it, just like I missed half of the Golden Globes, and I still haven't paid up for it. I better not miss the Oscars!! Anyway, they gave the lifetime acheivement award to Betty White, and I think that was very nice of them. She seriously did a lot of cool stuff and she deserved it. And she had the funniest speech! I find that the Screen Actor's Guild is just another Golden Globes, like every one got who won, won and every one who lost, lost. Plus the Golden Globes is like a foreshadow of the Oscars, so they're just all connected.

Quote of the day:
" I don't like all of the music to be serious and deadly." Neil Diamond

But I do, happy birthday. Check out this song if you're like me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsFlzhzxTlA.

The Sorceress

Yesterday at the library I was really fortunate to have found the Sorceress in stock, and I grabbed it with my hands before my brain gave it the signal to. I love the series, it's great. It's the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. It's about this race that existed way before the earth was even born. They're called the Elders, and they are immortal. The earth before our time was a paradise, and they intend on getting power back to the Elders and restoring that paradise, and turning the human race into slaves. But the Alchemyst, Nicholas Flamel, who had said to have died hundreds of years ago, had the Codex, or the Book of Abraham the Mage, which is the only thing the Elders need to get paradise world back. Nicholas and his wife have been immortalized by the book and are the guardians of it. Now Dr. John Dee, another immortal who works for the Elders, have all but two pages of the book. He also seeks the twins of legend. Twins who have pure gold and silver auras, glow that surrounds every living thing's body. The twins have emence power that, if used for the Elders, will destroy everything. Luckly, Nicholas has a hold on them and is teaching them what kind of power they have and how to use it for good. Complicated, huh? Here's the website if you want to check it out more: http://www.dillonscott.com/the-secrets-of-the-immortal-nicholas-flamel/index.htm, oh and here's the wikipedia if you want it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Secrets_of_the_Immortal_Nicholas_Flamel

Quote of the day:
"A book is the only immortality." Rufus Choate

Well, I guess the series helps deliver the message.

Voodoo

Evan, Winnie and I are doing a project on Voodoo, and it's sort of freaking me out. It's awesome, don't get me wrong, and I really am looking forward to working with these two. It's just that I went to the library today and got some books on it, and the pictures are pretty dark and freaky. I guess it's just that kind of religion, and I'll try my best to get my ideas of it out of my head.

There's this new song I like, it's part of the City of Bones and City of Ashes iMix, and it's called Only Ashes by Something Corporate. It's great, check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgcBfWEyGC4 or see the video bar at the side of the page.

Official new favourite books

The Mortal Instruments are officially my favourite books! I just got almost every song from its iMix, and it took me two hours but I don't care. Plus, I started to follow Cassandra Clare's blog and even envied the people that got to go to her signing in Vancouver last year. I'm officially obssessed. My old favourite books used to be another series, The Red Necklace and the Silver Blade. I still love them, but the Mortal Instruments is better. Then again, there was the Book Theif that was really good! Okay, so see the bottom of the page to see my updated favourite book list then.

Oh, that's sweet.

Someone like me

Today I found out a funny little fact, Vivian and Tiffany are a lot like me. Today, we talked forever about City of Bones, and neither of them seemed to be annoyed, and in fact, I think they like talking about it. That's really a first, usually when I love something, I just want to talk about it and nothing else. But when I do, I catch myself talking too much and the other person just looking annoyed, so I stop. But these two are awesome. We don't usually hang out at lunch and stuff, but they're really nice and they are really like myself. I love this!

Quote of the day:
"I don't need a friend who changes when I change and who nods when I nod; my shadow does that much better." Plutarch

But it's still good to have something in common. Take me and Angel for example, we haven't actually been all that best of friends when we were little. I came to Canada before her, and she was in my class in grade 2, so I helped her and we got along. Then for 6 years she wasn't even in my class. And in grade 7 we got closer because of Jade, a girl that was both our friends. And now that we are both in Synergy and both used to be in the same school, we seem close. But really, I have nothing in common with her. The occasional movie I've seen and the occasional book she's read, but that's just it. I mean, she's a wonderful friend, truely great. I guess I just need to involve her in conversations, that's all.

Assembly

Today's assembly was the first one we've had for recognition. My name was on the first page of people that got the honor roll. I think the order is based by your average, I got one B and all As, and I think that's the highest mark. They say there was only one person who got Principal's List, but I think I knew two others that did.

Apparently there's a City of Bones iMix, the songs the writer listened to while she was writing the book, that is. But it's only available to Americans, so she posted up the playlist. I got two songs from it last night, and they were awesome, they remind me so much of the books, and I'm totally obsessed with them.

Quote of the day:
"I hated school. Even to this day, when I see a school bus it's just depressing to me. The poor little kids." Dolly Parton

Of course you do, you're probably 7000 miles from an honor roll.

Extensions and Reflections

Extensions Lesson 14

Roles: Goals:
Daughter I like to spend more time with my parents and help them whenever they need it.
Student My number 1 job as a student is to work hard at school. I wish for a great academic score and be able to learn more stuff that will eventually lead me into higher learning.
Friend I like to divide my time amongst friends and I just like hanging out with them and maybe I can help them a little more.
Club member I like being involved with school activities and I want to get into more clubs.
Musician I should practice more.

Reflections
Have every family member choose one role that relates to your family (e.g.., son, sister, father); set a goal that will have a positive impact in that relationship.
As a daughter, I have set a goal to do my homework faster so I can spend more time with my family. Believe it or not, my parents want that too, but it's just hard to take time off of their work because they'll get fired if they take so much time off, they are needed at their jobs and family quality time can't interfere with that. Plus, we spend a lot of time together already, and sometimes it's nice to get away from those you see every day.

My usual blog:
I didn't think the Pink Panther was really funny, it just felt like another version of Mr. Beans or something. I am, however, happy to note that the guy from the Sound of Music was in it. What was his name...Chris something, Chris... Christopher Plummer, that's it. What other movie was he in again, oh well, no matter, he was in the movie, I'm sure. He was the notorious Phantom guy that broke the fat man's fingers, haha! I liked that, though. It was not bad, but if you ask me, I would take the old version over the new version any day. Steven Martin's just not funny!! Not at all! It's surprising he was a comedian, he sucked, he should have been a vacuum!

Quote of the day:
"All right everyone, line up alphabetically according to your height." Casey Stengel

Now that's just weird. Can you imagine 6 year olds running around trying to line up alphabetically according to their heights?

FINISHED

Last night I said good bye to the characters of the Mortal Instruments series, and I was so sad. I love trilogies, they give you three whole books to love the characters, and I really loved these ones. It was a great series and a wonderful ending, I just wish I can write something like that one day. I'm going to miss the characters so much. It might sound like I'm crazy, missing fictional characters, but I feel like they really exist, and I've been there for all their adventures, and now there'll be no more. I felt the same way when I finished Life Under the Stars, that's my NaNoWriMo. And that one was just a one novel thing, and yet it was still sad. But now I have to get back to it and revise it and edit, the part that I hate the most. I can correct the grammar and spelling and stuff like that, but I just hate removing parts and having to change the story. But if I don't, it'll be the same and it'll never get better. Though right now I still haven't touched it yet, I'm sort of hoping other people can help me edit, since I suck at it a lot. I'm starting my next big production in the summer: Saving Our Ships, SOS, get it? It's about seven ships that sink and seven pairs of people that are on each of the ships. So it's like seven short stories mixed into a big story.

Quote of the day:
" Behind every great man is a woman rolling her eyes." Jim Carrey

Ha, so funny, happy birthday. Hey, didn't Ellen say something like that?

"Behind every great women is a Lazyboy." Ellen Degeneres

Haha, get it? She was sitting on a Lazyboy, like the recliners, but it's also a play on words, so funny!!

Reading like CRAZY!!

This is so bad for my eyes, and my mom is so mad at me for it, but I'm reading like crazy to get the City of Glass finished so I can get it back to Rebecca on Monday. I now can even see double with my new glasses on, which means that my eyes are REALLY tired and bad. But I have to get it done.

Golden Globes tomorrow!! I can't wait. They say Ricky Gervais is hosting it. Hopefully it'll be fun. This year the movies are like last year's. They're weirder. There's nothing like Slumdog or the Wrestler and things like that. And yes I watched the Wrestler, my dad wanted to watch it, but I hated it. I thought it made no sense at all. Or maybe I'm just saying that because I've never really liked Mickey Rogue before. The first time I saw him in a movie was Alex Rider, Stormbreaker, and he was a bad guy in that, so I've never really had a good impression of him.

Quote of the day:
"For me it's always about first impressions. I trust my instincts. I love to prepare if it's something that requires training. But I don't like to prepare the psychology too much. I enjoy the psychology of the character but I work better from a first impression." Billy Zane

Oh, he's cool now, but the first movie I saw him in was Titanic, and he was a bad guy in that, so he gave me a horrible first impression. Did you know he was bald??

Ellen

I love Ellen now, she's so funny!! I watch her show every day now, I can get why so much people like her. She's not like Steve Martin funny, or Chris Rock funny, she's really funny without being racist or anything like that. She's a higher level of funny, and classy level of funny. Here's the Oscars she hosted, it's so funny: http://www.youtube.com/user/oscars?blend=1&ob=4#p/u/159/whgVLNC5KSY and here's Steve Martin's: http://www.youtube.com/user/oscars?blend=1&ob=4#, just not the same.

Quote of the day:
"A right delayed is a right denied." Martin Luther King Jr.

Hey, that's what Mr. Olson told us at the info night last year, no news is not good news. Happy birthday.

RACCOONS!!

Last night a raccoon got onto our padio and it stayed there for a LONG time. Before that he, or she, tried to scratch into our house. I have one of those floor to ceiling windows that leads our to padio and it tried to get in from there. It was so freaky that I called 911. They laughed and told me to call animal control. They told me to leave it alone, and after a while it left. I've never seen one in the city before, it was so weird.

Quote of the day:
"A movie that costs only $1.6 million doesn't have to be a cultural event to turn a profit. " Steven Soderbergh

Haha, true. Happy birthday.

Extensions and Reflections

Extensions Lesson 15

1) Where have you spent your time?
I spend my time as much as I can in Quadrant 2, and I think I'm in a way like Kyra. I know what I want in life, sort of, and I work hard to achieve it. I always feel like I can't get things done, but really I always get them done anyway, it's just a warning, I guess, to be in panic mode.

1. What title goes here? Important, Urgent
I hate doing things under pressure and time, I just can't seem to be able to get things together at the last minute. I like to know how my day is going to look exactly, and I feel like changes just ruin it. If I have a test, I would have studied every weekend that I had the material, not at the last minute.

2. What title goes here? Important, not urgent
Maybe I'm not looking at myself really, and I actually don't spend any time here. But to me, I feel like I'm here most of the time. I love to know what is going on before anything happens, and I have to plan before anything happens too. If I had a day to myself and I had some work to do, I'd plan my time so that I can finish the work with time left over for fun things. But I will always do the work first, I just get antsy thinking about the unfinished homework after 7 oclock, so I have to finish everything before that.

3. What title goes here? Not Important, urgent
I think a lot of my friends have other friends that can do stuff with them to not even ask me to join. Maybe sometimes just to be nice, but they know what kind of a person I am. Like back in elementry, my friends don't call me out to play basketball until 4:30 because that's the time when they think I'm done my homework, or if they know that I don't have work at all, maybe a little earlier.

4. What title goes here? Not Important, not urgent
I wish to spend more time here, actually. My mom and dad always says that I work too hard and that I should have some time for fun. Though I always answer to them saying that I do have fun. Which I do, I get 12 to 6 in the afternoon on Sundays all to myself now, since both my parents work then. So I can finish what I need to do, which would probably be finished then, and I spend the rest of the day watching movies and reruns of the Oscars or Ellen.

Where are the majority of your activities? How much time do they take each week? What activities could you cut back on or cut out altogether to spend more time in quadrant 2?
Well, I would have to say that I'm a freak planner. I like to plan and I cannot live without an agenda or mental notes of what would be happening that day. I don't think I can cut out anything else to spend more time in Quadrant 2, not unless I get rid of fun altogether, which I don't think is very fair to me. I don't really have that much to do with my friends or family, I prioritize my work as the first thing, I hate waiting until the last minute, and I don't really spend that much time doing things that are not important or urgent. But I think we should occasionally jump into that quadrant just for some time to relax, right?

Reflection
Get everyone in the family to categorize into the Time Matrix the time they spent during the last couple of days. How can you each spend more time in Quadrant II?
My family never really had much plans outside of our family. Since my parents are immagrants and their friends are all back in China, they don't really have anything to do outside of work and family. Even back in China, they didn't really like going out with friends and stuff. They aren't very social people, I noticed. I think I get the planning from my mom and the prioritizing from my dad. He always knows what needs to be done and gets it done earlier than everyone else, and my mom likes to plan ahead, to know exactly where I meet and when I meet my friends, when I get home, how I get home, who will be there. And not only because she's uptight and wants me safe, she just likes to know what's going on at what time.

My usual blog:
I am was able to borrow City of Glass from Rebecca a couple of days ago, and I'm speeding through the book. Some one should pull me over and give me a ticket!! I've never read a book so fast, I'm half way through already! I think it's because I love it so much, and I want to know what happens. Some times when I read a book, no matter how good it is, I just look down at the page number and wish that I could read it faster, but I still haven't done that for this book, which is awesome.

Quote of the day:
"Elves are cool, man." Orlando Bloom

We had a presentation on autism today, and I think the main message is that we should except people that are different from us and be kind. Elves are different, and this quote says that they're like us, sort of. I just thought that it was like...it's like autism...I...uh...I just thought...yeah. And also it's his birthday, so yeah.

Tuesday, January 12, 2010

AHH!!

OMG, today I had so much stuff to do. I would have to say I still have so many things to do. I just borrowed City of Glass from Rebecca, and I promised to finished it by Friday, so I have to hurry and read that, I've got a lot of English homework, and I mean a LOT, I've got a quiz in Socials and a test on Monday, and I've got the Go, plus I've got new songs for Strings, so that's a lot.

Quote of the day:

Well, I've got no time to wait, only time to hustle.

Friends!

My dad got me the whole ten seasons of Friends today!! It's so cool, I have them all on DVD, and I own them!! It's like one month ago I had no DVDs except for dumb ones and ones that I don't like. Now I've got my favourite movie on DVD, and my favourite TV show!! Ten seasons!! I'm so happy.

Also, I would just have to say that today is a very good day. I didn't get that much homework, and today at Literature Club, and we listened to a song and we had to write it. It was like the easiest idea I've gotten, and it came to me so easily, and I got it from a snowflake all the way to a snowball without even trying!!

"Happiness is found in doing, not merely possessing." Napoleon Hill

Well, I didn't do anything, and I have everything, and I'm pretty happy!!

Science fair

I'm almost done my science fair poster!! I finally know what exactly is going to be on there and is now just got two sections left before everything's ready. I'm so ahead. But now I'm worried that I'm too ahead and Ms. Smedley decides to change something at the last minute and I won't be able to change it because I'll be all ready and on the poster. Or I guess I'm just freaking out for no reason.

Quote of the day:
"Love and pain become one in the same in the eyes of a wounded child." Pat Benatar

Well, poor kid. Happy birthday.

Impulse

I just started the book Impulse, by Ellen Hopkins. It really gives you a grim look at the world's teens. It's about three teens, I would think, and teir all in a mental hospital. Vanessa, cuts herself because of a crazy mohter who she watched die, Connor, part of a one side love affair with a teacher twice his age and has ice as a mohter, and Tony, gay boy whose mother slept around and so did he while his father left when he was very little. They give a really down perspective on the world and almost give you no hope in the world left. I got the audio version so I can rest my eyes and knit while listening to it. But it's been the first day and I'm already half through. It's enjoyable, but also makes you very emo.

Quote of the day:
"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get." Forrest Gump

Ah, my favourite quote of all time!!

New Glasses

I got new glasses yesterday! It's like every single minute that I wear the glasses now I want to sing like the commercial jingle for Cleariton Clear, the allergy medicine. Like "I can see clearly now" that kind of thing. I love them. They not only look nice, but also make everything so clear. I can even read the board in Science without squinting. I was able to read everything without actually going there myself. It's great!!

Quote of the day:
"There are nights when the wolves are silent and only the moon howls." George Carlin

This is the one of the things on the board in Science and I just loved it. It's so deep, with so much meaning. What does it mean that the moon will howl instead of the wolves?? It's just, wow.

14!!

I'm fourteen!!! I'm so old!! I'm the oldest in the grade. I'm always the oldest!! It's actually quitre tiring being the oldest all the time. You know, other people can get a break because there's someone older than him. But there are no one older than me, ever. I know one person whose birthday is on January 5th, but she's a year younger than me. I also know someone with the same birthday, but also one year younger than I am. There was someone else who had their birthday today, but I don't know who it is. And today barely any one remembered. It's actually the people that weren't so close to me that actually remembered. There was Tanbo, who actually gave me a cookie for my birthday. And there was Valence, someone that was one of my friend's friends, but she texted me and I didn't even tell her.

Well, look at that, I have the same birthday with an Oscar winner.

First Impressions

Some people just aren't the kind of people you thought they were. Like lets say for example our CS student in PE, Josh. I've always thought of him as the athletic type that has no brains for literature or current events at all. But today Laurie disproved my theory by telling me about all the poems Josh writes. It was very surprising, considering my thoughts on this guy. And apparently he's very nice and even talked to her on line. It just goes to show, don't judge a book by its cover, and don't judge a movie by its book, either.

Huh, this coming from Mr. Beans. Happy birthday.

Obsession

Obesession is a funny thing. I tend to get it a lot. Maybe I'm just a person that's easily persuaded to like stuff. But I have my own style too. I couldn't stop thinking about that actor today, the actor from the last post I saw. It's so weird, I can't seem to get him or that book series out of my head. This same thing happened when I first started to like Titanic and the Red Necklace and the Silver Blade. And so it turned out that highschool really do have more people thar are like me and that I can get along with. Like Laurie, I didn't know her at first, but now she turns out to have watched more Matt Damon movies than I give her credit for. And Christina, a girl in my French class, she's seen more great movies than I have!! And even Nancy, she has some tricks up her sleeve. She's seen Wild Child, a movie I saw yesterday with that actor and Emma Roberts. That's not generally my first choice of movies, but it's good when you just want something small and sweet. Nancy liked the movie a lot, and it wasn't bad in my opinion.

I wish that was true, even my Mom gets in the way when nothing is ever going to happen.

Reflections

Sit down and discuss some things that are important to each member in your family. How can you help each other accomplish these things?

Well, we thought our family was very important to all of us. My mom and dad wanted more time to rest, and I wanted more time alone with my homework. That started us on a schedule. I now have chores Wednesdays and Fridays and Sundays. Plus, they thought the three hours that I'm alone afterschool in the house would be enough for homework. I agreed. We would then alternate working around the house for the best times. It's going great.

My usual blog: There was a character in the Mortal Instruments, Jace, I really like. And there's this actor who I think is the perfect person for Jace. Sometimes characters add up to just the same. Like two characters or two people that gives you the exact same feeling, like as if they should be one another, you know. I swear, there's already an actor ready for every single one of the Mortal Instruments characters. Like there's this other guy that's just like the actor on TV. The only person who I don't know who should play them is the main character, which is not exactly the most convenient one to not know who it is.

Hyh, that's funny. Happy birthday, anyway.

Last day of Winter Break

Today's the last day before we get back to school. Yeppi. Woop. Horray. Yeah. Can you hear my sarcastic, tired, enthusiasm-missing cheers? I love school, don't get me wrong, it's just that it felt like we barely had time to put up our feet before it was time to get back into the chaos again. Once we get back, it's like go go go non-stop. I'm just saying that it's a little tiring compared to elementry. Of course, what am I saying, how can elementry compare to this?? High school requires blood and sweat!! It's hard core labouring!! Wake up soldier, it's time to fight!! Yes sir!!

Well, then, they really taught us wrong in pre-school.

End of the Second Book

Some things you just can't keep your hands off, for instance, The Mortal Instruments series. It's absolutely great, there's like not faults in it. It can't even be compared to Twilight, and I'm sick of people telling me that since I've never read it, I can't judge it. I've read it! Oh, I've read it, but I couldn't get past the first five chapters, it was horrible!! The Mortal Instruments are about these secret league of people called the Nephilim, or also known as the Shadowhunters. And Clary Fray, an ordinary fifteen year old, is sucked into this unknown world that her mother had hidden from her for all her life. The world also consists of things like faeries and vampires and werewolves. But the Shadowhunters are supposed to be at peace with them, it's demons they fight to keep away from mankind. And Clary is one of them. Her mother soon goes into a magical coma, her mother's best friend is a werewolf, and her own best friend is transformed into a vampire by this world. She meets many others along her way to finding a cure for her mother, and those included the nice Lightwoods, who helps her through, Valentine, her evil father that started it all, and her brother Jace, well, let's just leave Jace alone. Together with them, Clary faces the evil, finds her talents, and falls in love with the wrong person. Cool, huh?

Quote of the day:
"I like someone who's suffered from both sides." Diane Lane

She must love Jace, then, he's suffered from more than only two sides. Happy birthday.

Happy New Year

To begin my new year, I did absolutely nothing. Well, I read anyway. I guess that's how I really want to start off my year, by doing something so comfortable and familiar so that the whole year can be like that. Since I wrote a lot yesterday, I'll leave it at that for today, but expect a lot more tomorrow.

Quote of the day:
"A clever man commits no minor blunders." Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Well, then, does that mean that all clever men either gets into no trouble at all, or gets himself into hell?
