We're actually getting through JPEC really well, we're even half done the egg glider. It's great working with people who don't like panicking at the minute.

The Pianist

Laugh all you want, I know it's a funny word, but seriously, the movie is really good!!!! It won the Cannes Palme d'or, and no duh it did!!! It isn't like Pulp Fiction, which won for pretty much no reason, this movie is genius. Roman Polaski has his problems, but he does make great movies. I loved Chinatown, and now I love the Pianist. And since my awesome, movie-loving parents bought the whole set of 60 years of Cannes films, 8 DVDs mind you, we have all the beautiful movies to last a long time!!

Of course, I got some recent films too, like the Oscar nominated films this year, and like the Leonardo DiCaprio set, and like scattered movies like Braveheart and Gladiator.

I'm happy right now.

And I need to do my Applied Skills project, which this helps a lot with!!

Added more to my screenplay, Witness, but still 99 pages. OMGS!!! So frustrating, what else can I add on????

I really loved doing dance again today with Zoe. It was a little messy, bla bla, but I got down the steps and have something to do when you're just sitting, going over the steps, or if you want to stretch a little. I really liked dance, and really want to go to some kind of lessons and stuff like that. It would be fun!!

Okay, so there's this website, or more like a group of websites, dedicated to books being turned into movies, hence the PAGE to PREMIERE. And I was thinking, considering how I was looking at Percy Jackson pictures to find that pic of the day for yesterday, how crazy it was casting Percy Jackson. Of course, I wasn't a fan when they were casting, I became one when the movie was out. But seriously, was it as hectic as the Hunger Games casting right now.

I think Gary Ross and his team knows how to play it. I mean, look at it, these past few days, they've been spewing out names for district tributes. Yesterday, Thresh and Rue were casted, today, Marvel and Glimmer from District 1 were casted. And now, there's talk of who's being Effie Trinklet. These are all side characters, but very important in their game. Now that they have the main characters down, they have to keep the buzz up before they cast their final other important parts, like Prim, Haymitch, maybe even Madge, Snow. These guys are just, prepositions, really, before the real world is out.

Just stating, on record, that Madi is now in love with Castle, and I get full credit, just like I get full credit for her liking Merlin, and Mortal Instruments.

Sun Run

Really tired, so I watched Skins after I got home and took a shower after that run. Wow, I actually did pretty good, right under an hour and 20 minutes. I'm very proud.

But now I feel a little guilty, and unsure, about my study for the tests, yes, 5 tests, next week. I studied yesterday, but I'm just so tired I really don't want to study now!!

Priest just looks soooooo good. That other guy that killed Marissa from the OC is in it too. I'm not that mad at him any more. And Lily Collins is in it, and I need to see the future Clary Fray act.

Reach game and hockey game

Be proud, Zoe, I'm watching the hockey game!!! See? 3-4, and I screamed at Luongo when he let that last puck in!!!!!! I know what's going on!!!!

Okay, so I was very happy, and tired now, to have helped with the Seniors Reach Tournament. Churchill lost in the quarter finals, so that was a bit of a let down. But it was really weird though, because the Seniors lost to Sentinel, and if they didn't lose, they would've played the exact same people as we, the Juniors, did. It was Sentinel vs Saints, Irish Point (Van College) vs Burnaby North for semi-finals. For us, it was us vs Saints, Irish Point vs Burnaby North. Then Burnaby North and Saints win and they go to verse each other for gold, and we and Irish Point battle out for third. Or in the Senior's case Sentinel vs Irish Point. Sentinel got third, Burnaby North second, and Saints (no duh) first. It would've been the exact same line-up!!!!!

Script Frenzy Crunch

Okay, so tomorrow's gonna be the 15th, which means I have to be at least at 50 pages by tomorrow. I've got... 49? I think I need to step up my game, seriously, this is about the time that you start getting nervous. I'm getting nervous. I just need like a few hours without having to think of anything else, and it's like a really easy, dialogue filled scene. Aha, it's giving me the spelling red underline on dialogue right now, no Canadian spelling, eh?

Dreams

Okay, so with my numerous posts on the dreams that I've had, I think it's safe to say that I know my dreams, and in fact, how to remember my dreams. I realize lots of people that I talk to have trouble remembering their dreams, like Allison today, so I've given out three simple ways to try and jock your memory.

1. Remember a picture. This could be any picture that stands out to you right after you woke up, hold on to it, and if you do, then other pics will come, and soon you'll have a whole dream. You just need that one picture.

2. Remember the feeling. Dreams make you feel something, emphasized, that's why sometimes, if you have a really good dream, it's even sadder to wake up from it, because you never get that strong of a feeling in real life.

3. Write it down. What I like to do is in a few words, scribble the feeling/picture down. All you need is that one word, or description.

If this doesn't help you, then you're just not very good at remember stuff then, sorry.

Inception in my dreams

Last night, in my dream, I could've sworn I was running from people trying to steal something from me. It was crazy, the dream, I can barely remember it now. I just remember the feeling. I like the feelings that dreams give you, they're very strong, like emphasized from real life, and there's only a few but they're simple.

Sounds about right, I was watching Inception before I slept.

I love dreaming.

I love my dreams.

If there is something like inception, being in a dream and knowing that you're in a dream, I'd want to be a part in it. But I think in some dreams, I remember knowing that it was a dream!!

BTW, Black Swan was great!!! Scary, but great!!!!!!!!! As well, Social Network was really good too, but not good enough for it to have won so many awards, like seriously!!!!!!!

Rush Rush

Lots of homework, lots of clubs, Script Frenzy. Ah, I'm back to my old self: stressed. And you know what? It's okay, I like this life. It's good work as long as we get occasional breaks. But no more boring you with this. I'm just waiting for FRIDAY, FRIDAY GOTTA GET DOWN OF FRIDAY!!!!!!!!

I FREAKING HATE THAT SONG!! Seriously, horrible, horrible, song, just about a girl who can't sing, so she auto-tunes herself as she's talking about last week's Friday. Honestly??? She's right. They say they want the fans to be heard? We really have no voice. I've talked to at least ten fans so far and every single one hates this. We're not saying that the actors are bad actors, they're just not right for the parts they've been put for. There are thousands of fans out there and we can be easily found: fanfics, youtube tributes, fanmade trailers, blogs, comments on random fansites, even the fansites. Listen to us once in a while!!!

Going fine

Everything's practically done! I'm seriously, everything's going so smoothly! The script for Midsummer is done, cheesy, but not Geoffrey-cheesy, because he changed like all of my original script, and let's just say you'll be gagging and laughing at whatever movie he ever writes!

I won't post up Witness like I did Makeshift because it's a screenplay, and I don't really know how to divide it, but there's a new page and some sub-pages happening at my site and that's where I'll post everything in order and neatly so each story has its own sub-page. And I'll put the link here.

Okay, lots of scripts for me to bend over. Honestly!!

We decided that we would have Mafia as a theme for the Midsummer Night's Dream play, which is good and I'm happy with it, but this also means I pretty much need to redo the whole script, cause right now it's Elizabethan English, and that won't work in Godfather. I also want to watch that movie again, just to get into the idea of things.

The second script, more screenplay, is for Script Frenzy. 100 pages in 30 days. It's easier than NaNoWriMo though, 50 000 words in 30 days. This is just 100 pages and it's in screenplay format, so lots of skipping lines. ;)

April Fools

Happy April Fools Day!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There was nothing folly about my day at all.

In fact, it was quite an ordinary day. Went out for lunch, went to the doctors about my bad knee, doctors turned out to be closed for Spring Break, got some groceries, watched some Charlie Chaplain. And yes, I FREAKING OWN THE LEGEND OF COMEDY ON DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had it in China and we brought it back with us!!!!!!!! As well, I've bought a few more films, more recently produced, not pirated!!

They're a book by a selective group of famous authors to weigh in their takes and impressions on the series of which they are critics for, in this case, The Hunger Games. I read a little on Amazon, and it's got the same views as I have. Hopefully they insult some of the other mindless vampire love YA novels, because those readers, if they love Hunger Games at all, are just in it for the fun, and the books are not just for fun!! They are of educational and political value, and has great life-reflecting messages. Wow, I sound like one of them. WOOHOO!!!!!!!!
