About Me

My photo
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Okay, sup? How you doing? Good! But you're probably here to know about me. I'm Sophie and I'm 15, grade 9, Asian, bla bla bla. I like a lot of stuff! Like books, music, MOVIES (if you want to know which ones, just go down to the bottom)! I want to be a director when I grow up, sooooo fun!! And I've got lots of friends, well, not lots, but a fair bit. People call me hard-working, or just a nerd. I am a nerd, a hard-core nerd, you got a problem with that? Good. I'm also just hard-core, I mean, I've got people's backs, I fight for what I believe in, I say what's on my mind, I don't sway with the crowd. Yeah, anything else? If you have any more questions (Which you probably don't, because you probably know me in real life, and you'll know that Sophie Tribiani doesn't exit, at least I hope I didn't steal someone else's name o.O....) Just read some of my posts, I've got lots!

French Oral

Okay, so we have this huge French Oral on Thursday, but I think I'm pretty prepared. That's all.

We buskered a bit today, but the Science test ate a lot into lunch. In fact, some really passionate people, like Geoffrey, stayed the whole lunch. I got hungry, and I didn't care THAT much.

Pic of the day:
Jamie Campbell Bower cast as Jace, and all I have to say is, and I'm sure that Bower is a good actor and all, but: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I just hope there's still a way Alex Pettyfer can get the role. Ever since the book came out, all fans have been agreeing on Pettyfer. They don't know that they've been starting an army, and they will get it, I don't even need to do much about this.

Flashmob

Flashmob: a mob with flash bombs
Flashmob: a mob flashing the surrounding people

Our flashmob was neither, and thank the gods for that, really.

It was fun, wouldn't say that it wasn't. Though I think sticking to Buskering might work a little better. I got 75 cents from the flashmob, that's not a lot, and I don't think others got so much either. It was too much work for too little result.

A Cute Fullmetal Fanfic

Okay, so a little story popped into my head, a Fullmetal Fanfic, hope you like it.

Welcome Home

She tapped her fingers on the cold metal screw on the wooden bench, waiting to hear the tracks rumble from the nine o'clock train. The station was beginning to fill up as the time grew near. She's been waiting since the afternoon, and now the sun was nearly covered by the far away mountains in the north. She couldn't help but smile. Winry Rockbell always waited.

The train approached fifteen minutes behind schedule, screeching to a halt right in front of her. Winry got up abruptly and took a breath. The train blew out its steam, filling the crisp night air with warm, white, dust. It made it harder to see the people vacating the train. She could only spot a shape, but it was enough for her. The rustling hair, the suitcase, and the slight mechanical limp, probably only visible to her eyes, startled her. It's been more than once that they'd come home all beaten up, his automail torn to pieces, and she was afraid he hadn't lost his old habits.

As he approached, the more characteristic features started to become prominent: his dirty blond hair, just a shade darker than her own, his pony tail swinging in the wind, and his golden eyes gleamed with happiness and excitement to be home. His expression, though, showed more of a bored and tired look. Knowing him, how his expression was always a mask for something deeper that he was to scared or embarrassed to let out, Winry dismissed it.

Her hand automatically shot up to wave, "Welcome home!"

Edward Elric peered in her direction, yawned, and walked towards her. "Yeah," he said lazily, "I'm home. Can we sit?"

Before hearing Winry's reply, Ed was already past her and heading towards the bench on the far side of the station. Winry rolled her eyes and followed.

"Sure."

"So," said the former Fullmetal Alchemist, not even bothering to look back, "Is Al back yet?"

"No, his train's supposed to get in tomorrow, you can rest a bit before then," Winry informed him as they plopped down onto the bench. Ed stretched out his legs in front of him and leaned deep onto the bench, creating a tripping hazard for anyone who might have walked by. Winry knew better than to even try to get him to care. "You seem tired," she stated.

"Of course I'm tired, a four day train ride from the far side of Drachma isn't fun at all. And besides, I had that three day train ride before that too. I haven't been on solid land for a while," he yawned again, his face then contorting into a tired scowl.

Reaching into his jacket pocket, Ed produced a small violet box, and set it on the bench in between them. Still maintaining his previous look, he slumped back onto the bench, looking straight forward.

Winry stared at the box, then laughed and picked it up, "Another set of earrings? If I remember correctly, someone told me it was stupid to punch holes in my ears just to accommodated these."

"There not earrings," Ed mumbled.

Winry's laugh died in her throat, and she looked down at the box, "Oh, I see."

It was almost like someone else was forcing it on her, she didn't even realize she was crying until a small teardrop darkened the edge of the box. She could feel Ed's expression soften and look at her. She could almost feel his sad smile, "What are you crying for, Winry?"

She sniffed and tried to wipe her face clear, "You kept your promise," she whispered.

"What promise?"

"The one where you said you won't make me cry unless it's tears of pure joy. And you kept your promise," she looked at him, "You make me stronger, Ed. You make me keep all my promises because you always keep all of yours."

Winry managed a smile, "So? Is this a promise?"

Edward scowled and faced forward again, "Wow, Winry, when did you get so sincere."

"I've always been sincere!"

Ed got up suddenly, taking his suitcase, he walked past Winry and towards the exit of the train station. Most of the people were already gone, anxious to get home to loved ones from a long journey. The final bit of steam escaped the front of the train, and the light in the ticket booth was already dim, so it was hard to make out his eyes under the shadow of his hair. Ed stopped at the side of the bench, "You're an idiot. Of course it's a promise."

Winry smiled, "Then I'll accept it."

At this, Ed turned, surprised. It was Winry's turn to get up this time, and she moved to stand beside him, both of them facing the iron gates. "And besides," she said, and started to walk in front of him, "I already said I was going to give you 85% of my life, right?"

Ed quickened his steps to catch up, and as he did, he burst into laughter. "85%?" he asked rather loudly in the tranquil air of the vacant road away from the train station, "How can you ever calculate 85% of someone's life?!"

"I'm good with numbers!" Winry yelled back. As they walked, their voiced continued to get louder, and the residence of Resemble smiled when they heard them. Ed was home, they thought.

"Oh yeah? If you're so good with numbers, then how come my automail leg is three centimeters shorter than my real one?"

"I didn't know you were still growing!!"

"Hey, don't sound so surprised! 21 isn't beyond the age of possibility! Why didn't you accommodate it to growing!??"

"I didn't know you'd be gone for three years! In my experience, you would've broke it before you could grow at all! You do remember that I was taller than you until we were fifteen!"

"DON'T BRING THAT UP!! And how long did you think it'll take to travel ACROSS THE WEST!?? A week??"

"You're an idiot! You could've told me!"

"No, you're the idiot!!"

"No, you are!!"

"Damn it, Winry, are you ever going to give me some peace and quiet!"

"That's not my fault, you started it!"

BuskerMetal

Okay, I know the combined names are pretty bad, but I'll leave it.

Okay, so officially finished Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood!!!!!! As of yesterday, actually. OMGs, I'm sooo sad it's over. But I can't wait for the movie. Yes there's a movie, coming out in July. Speaking of movies coming out this summer, Skins is supposed to come out this summer, but I don't think it's going to happen, like three people signed up for it, so unless they're having filmings incognito, there's been no news of it. Therefore, no production, ergo, no movie, at least not this soon.

And Buskerfest. Sooooooooo....................... F******* Monday! I should be filming it, but I'm in it, so I guess I need some one else to film it and email it to me..... JENNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and Mr Olson, if you're reading this, can you make sure she films it on from the stairwell overlooking the Ca*******, that's the best shot. As well, if it's not too much trouble, could I borrow one of your cameras? I think I've asked before, but forgot to get it from you on Friday. I've got an SD card and everything. And is there a schedule for where everyone's going to be yet?

Pic of the day:
Since I can't post pics of F*******s, I guess I'll have to stick to Fullmetal. I find that in the manga and Brotherhood, Mustang's got more of back story, and is more vulnerable. In the original series, it doesn't reveal that much about him. I like how he and Hawkeye have a back story now, it's cute. And this picture is incredible!! Koodos to whoever made it!

Kayaking

Spending 3 hours in the Indian Arm on two-persons kayak sounds like a lot of fun. Well, it was, minus the throbbing arms and the getting soaked part, that is. When we went to camp in grade 7, we went kayaking too, but for like 30 minutes, not 3 hours. I'm pretty sure we circled around all of Deep Cove. The freeze didn't help either. But the view was nice, I got the low quality version, since I didn't bring my glasses. I don't regret it though, they wouldn't been splashed on.

Pic of the day:
Ours were two people, so imagine two cockpits.

Western Confrence

OMGS WE WON THE WESTERN CONFRENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STANLEY CUP HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I watched the double overtime for the game yesterday. I really think we're going to win this year. It's time the Stanley cup came to Vancouver, since we've got the STANLEY PARK and all.

Pic of the day:
You'd better. This reminds me of the sign we got Ms Jay: Forget the dog, BEWARE THE KIDS.

Movie Project

Okay, so apparently our movie project is due like next week. Well, maybe I've got more time than that, but I'm not too worried. I updated my realplayer, AND NOW I CAN DOWNLOAD ANY VIDEO I WANT AND CONVERT THE FORMATS OF THE VIDEO SO YOU CAN USE IT ON MOVIE MAKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, scroll down to the best couples list, I added Fullmetal and Winry. I LOVE THEM TOGETHER!!!!!! I haven't found a good picture for Mustang and Hawkeye yet, but I'll get them on too. You realize that I avoid calling Edward Edward, since 1. I know an Edward, and when Fullmetal's spazzing, he's like Edward, but when he isn't, he's nothing like Edward. Eddy's like a five year old on sugar. No no no, he IS a five year old on sugar. It's true, Eddy carries a bag of it around with him, it's like drugs. And 2. Cullen. Needless to say more. The Elric name will NOT be shamed by being mistaken as Cullen.

Pic of the day:
Misery and Psycho is what I'm linking The Shining with, they're all classic horror movies about psychological problems resulting in blood thirst. Great, eh? Nice and uplifting.

Fullmetal Castle

Okay, two things I've gotta say:

1. After watching the couple of creepy episodes in Castle Season 3, especially the season finale, it's funny to watch them be so ignorant in the first and second seasons. They're so much happier, somehow, season 3 was a lot gloomier, a lot more scary and serious cases. It's great!!!!

2. Fullmetal Alchemist music?? Like openings and endings, ARE SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not really surprised, considering how this show is perfect all round.

Pic of the day:
Edward gets really tall in this one. If he was real, he'd be spazzing by now, but he eventually gets taller than Winry!!! I love those two together!!!!!!!!!!!!! And who else, might you ask? The Hawk's Eye and the Ishvalan Hero, or Riza and Roy!!!!! I love those two, so dedicated to each other, actually really realistic.

Being Vague

Our English project actually, if you think about, is very vague. We have to do a Mandala, and there's six steps and all, but they just tell you the mechanics of the project, not the specifics. It's good, cause more space to think, but not so good, cause you don't know what exactly to do.

OMGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FULLMETAL SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE'S POLITICS IN IT TOO AND IT'S JUST GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pic of the day:
Episode 43, about 20 episodes left. I really love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I watched about 15 today.

Guilt

Okay, I feel a little guilty for watching so much Fullmetal, but honestly, I just spent like three hours studying finals. And I'm tired. AND ED'S IN GLUTTONY'S STOMACH, GOTTA GO!!!

Thursday, May 19, 2011

Speaking of which

Have I even posted about CASTLE SEASON 3 FINALE?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? THAT WAS EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See? It took a while, cause for like three days I was walking around like a zombie, the show paralyzed my mind it was so crazy!!!!!!!! And yes, Geoffrey, I said zombie, what's about it??

Pic of the day:
Yes, she gets shot. WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????????? I NEED TO WAIT A WHOLE FREAKING SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obsessions

I find I do like to ponder on the human mind, to think of why we do the things we do, what effects from the past might have helped you, or how it'll affect the future.

Like why do I like Fullmetal Alchemist so much?? Big, very big question. If you look at an average person, they probably have a really wide range of enjoyments. And if you like it enough, it might poke at your very conscience every minute of the way until you find time to fulfull your obsession again. On a normal level, a person will find a little extra time to watch a show, or play a sport. They'll get their work done, and breathe a sigh of relief when the show is on or something. On a more severe level, like me, you start thinking about every minute, no matter what you're doing. You can concentrate, but you're impatient. And on a lethal level, you get so obsessed, you put down everything in your life, and possibly go mad. You might associate things in your life to the thing that you like so much, and maybe even hallucinate about how you're part of it all.

Pic of the day:
See? Obsessed. But only on a severe level, I love it, but I don't think that I'm in it, or want to meet any of the characters.

Writing

I find I have a problem when it comes to writing. Some people don't know what to say. I, however, see too much to the story that in the end I try to include all of them and in the end, I don't what I'm saying either. It's always all jumbled up and the story acts on too many levels, having too many messages. It's frustrating!! I need like a filter in my head to tell me what this story really is about. In a story like Makeshift, I think maybe it could've worked, and since it was in my domain, in my range of creation, it could make sense because I had a big range to allow it to make sense. But in things like essays and the Mandala project, I don't have that big space. I always have too much to say that sometimes they all come at once, and I don't even know what to say.

I'M SO CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pic of the day:
This essay should go this way!!

Geek for a Week

Okay, with Buskerfest fast approaching, I have made a list of what I must contribute:

-first of all, just get pledges
-establish geek for a week, where people pledge us to dress up as a geek (diversely and tastefully) for all of the four days of next week, or the week after that
-get pledges for every picture I take as a photographer in the actually Buskerfest
-work at the Casino table in the carnival instead of Ian (People have been saying that Ian would be much better, but he doesn't want to do it, so sorry, and besides, it was my idea)
-make a tribute video for Buskerfest when I get all the pictures and video
-help Zoe with the dance

See? Organisation rules. I've ditched my like two days of procrastination. LOLz, jk jk, once I get another chance to watch Fullmetal Alchemist, that's all going to change.

Pic of the day:
Imma try and find the Buskerfest logo for our school.

The Road Not Taken

The Road Not Taken
Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

It's for English project, we're doing a Mandala on travel. Though I don't really feel like I'm doing a Mandala. For those of you who don't know what a Mandala is, it's a religious symbol of sorts that has a central meaning much bigger that just what you think, but established through history. And now I can hear you snoring, so I'll stop.

PE ONLINE!!!

Okay, so now I'm forced to do something that'll really put a dent in my reputation.

I've always thought that the idea of taking Physical Education online, excuse my language, is crap. I mean come on!!! PE is the one subject that you move in and that there's no work involved, just moving. You can do Science online, writing in a notebook vs writing on a document, or anything else for that matter. Just PE online, I mean how do you even do it????

Well, now I have to take PE online! In the summer school completion courses, there was no complete PE 10 in school, so I have to take it online in order to get the credit!!!!! I have to do the thing that I thought was sooooo stupid! Great!

Guess that's how life is, huh? Oh well, proactive, not reactive, maybe this could be better, and I can get more of a workout.

Pic of the day:
We do get to do a lot of stuff in the curriculum, though, that's an upside.

procrastinating

I know right? Me? Procrastinating?? Not possible? Well, I guess not really possible. I did finish all my homework and studied for all my tests already, it's just I'm procrastinating to study for finals. I know, you are groaning. "What the hell?? Finals?? Now?? You're crazy!" or apparently, as Madi tells me, if you're from Ideal, you'll be like "Aha, you have finals."

But laugh all you want, you can get horrible on finals if you want, but I don't. I'm just not too worried about it right now.

Okay, we NEED TO HAND OUT THE TOQUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just saying.

Aha, one way to make people shave their hair for Buskerfest, give them perfect on finals.

Pic of the day:
This is what I call "pulling a Britney Spears". Does this look like Natalie Portman? But apparently it's not, it's just some random woman who shaved their head for charity, or so it said on the site.

FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMGSOMGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I FINISHED THE FIRST THREE EPISODES OF FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST BROTHERHOOD YESTERDAY AND IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOO FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved the original series but haven't been wtaching the Brotherhood one. Well, now I have and IT'S SOOOOOOOOOO GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I forgot how much I missed the characters and the story. I even emailed one of my old friends from elementary who got me into it oh so long ago.

Fullmetal really is very different from other animes, which weird Japanese names and dull plot lines. It's about revenge, all of them are, but it's also about growing up, and how you have to find who you are from your experiences. How tragedies can lead way for learning and love is unconditional and so strong. It's really got some very good ideas in it. Best anime/manga series I know.

Pic of the day:
Now this is a good picture, two of my favourite things: angles and fullmetal.

Blogger Down

Blogger was down yesterday, so here was my post:

it's funny how that on the same day that we talk about social networks in cyberspace (via Facebook, Twitter, Blogs), Blogger is somehow "Unavailable at the moment". Just a coincidence, I suppose. Well, I can't use ironic, because it's not, it's just a coincidence. I learned that from Castle, that ironic isn't "Just when I need her the most, she's not here" ironic would be "just when I needed her the most, I killed her." See the difference?

Speaking of Castle, SEASON 3 FINALE ON MONDAY, AND JUST WATCH AN UBER AWESOME SNEAK PEAK, OMGS, THEY TALK ABOUT THE KISS, OMGS THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST EPISODE EVER!!!!!!!!!!! And for this Pic of the day, I won't set my title of my blog "Castle" and post of pic of the FMA cast, that was just to troll you once.

Pic of the day:
And yes, there is a huge helicopter and Beckett is going to shoot at it, VA A ESTA EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IL VA ETRE EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT, WILL, BE, EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Track

Finals for Track and Field were today, yeah, and I got sixth in discus. Not ideal, I threw less than I did at the meets, but it's alright, I'm not last. And besides, sixth in the CITY? That's pretty great. Angelle got fourth, congrats to her, and we made a pact that next year, I'll get third and she'll get first.

Girls, I can honestly say, watch the boys you like. I just strolled on some TV channels, and like three shows presented a boy slipping something in the girl's drink, a guy performing domestic violence, and was like just one surf on 10 channels. That's a small number. I always say, stories are usually based somewhat on real life, so just be careful. My love interests are still actors and fictional characters (cough, Jace!!!!!!!!!!, Simon, Peeta, Percy), so I will continue to admire from afar. This world is just going into madness, isn't it?

Pic of the day:
There we go. Except if you actually start like that, you'll have a pretty bad throw.

Smile, kid, it's good for you.

Just to say, the title is a quote from Percy Jackson movie.

Mr Olson talked to us about smiling today, well, actually by talked I mean just told us to smile for 20 minutes. I didn't try it, but I did remember my little project back when I worked at Spare Time and made the kids smile. That was fun, and it seemed to cheer them up.

Maybe for Make A Wish, some of us, hopefully if we can, all of us go and give the money and smile at them, maybe spend a day with the children, cause we've gotta make sure that the money's going to them to help them be happy, and even though the money might work miracles, so might our smiles and a day spent with awkward Synergy kids. We have a way of making people smile: just being our goofy selves.

Pic of the day:
Trolling.

Math

As you might know from our Math 9 Enriched classes and our masses of complaining, that we have a worksheet to do. Oh, no, not just any worksheet that we can usually finish in two minutes, no no, this is a Geometry 11 worksheet. Geometry 11. And generally, I'm not that good at math. My dad, an Asian engineer, is getting headaches from looking at this worksheet. So you can imagine me. I've been burned out, and I've solved 5 questions. 5. And if you get over 8, then it starts counting up for bonus marks. And I've got 5 down. 5. I'm so tired, I can't even hold Shift as I spazz. Now, when I see any shape, I start seeing which angles are alike and which sides are equal. That's just not a good sign.

Pic of the day:
This is the picture for Katniss' background on her blog. By Katniss, I mean Cynthia Ho in Synergy 8, whom I know as Katniss because she's Katniss on Gmail. I see Sine and CoSine. I don't want to.

CASTLE!!!!!!!

Okay, so I have a problem. I can not stop watching Castle!!!!!!!!!! It wasn't a good idea for my dad to buy it for me, honestly. I really need to start study for finals, ONE MORE MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I restarted on Fullmetal Alchemist, this time Brotherhood. I watched the original anime already, the 2004 one, and the movie, Conqueror of Shambala. Okay, okay, I cheated, I watched the last episode of Brotherhood, and the cute scene with Winry and Ed!!!!!!!!! I'm such a fan girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And spoiler alert, Roy's blinded in both eyes instead of one in the original series, and is becoming Fuher?? That's so funny!!! It was only General in the original anime. As well, I'm confused.

Pic of the day:
Group picture!! So this is why it deserves to be oversized!

Red Robin Dinner!!

Yeah!!! Going to Red Robins today for Reach for the Top dinner! Can't wait!

We we we so excited!!!!! We so excited!!!!!!!!!!! Rebecca Black= bad grammar! Shouldn't she be learning this in school right now??

Pic of the day:
Horrible.

The Beet Queen

Ah, my English book. It's not good it's not bad. It's.... okay and kinda weird actually. This guy, I mean I'm totally fine with him being gay, but he isn't gay, but then he's gay again, but then isn't gay once more....... By-sexual? It's a little confusing.

Speaking of which, I saw a news report about this debate going on at the Burnaby School Board. They wanted to have a program for elementary kids to introduce them to homosexuality and hwo to respect it. Lots of people say, and I agree, that this shouldn't be a program for ELEMENTARY kids. Their minds aren't set yet and are very easily influenced. If some of them are gay, they need to come to terms with it themselves and it shouldn't be a joke to them, which, consequently will be if you make a program to talk about it to them. As they get older, they'll know what it's about and I think maybe the workshop might work better for High school teens. Elementary level is just too young.

Pic of the day:
Read it if you like a book that makes you go, "What?"

In love with Castle

By now people have known that I love Castle. So it wouldn't surprise you to hear that I've been playing my Castle DVDs on end.

I can't stop, I need help. No, I've got to take control. But I can't!! Wow, this is dangerously becoming one of my self arguments. No it's not, be quiet Jess! No, you be quiet Sophie!!!

Pic of the day:
AHHHHH OMGSOMGSOMGSOMGSOMGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AUTOGRAPHED PHOTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Money to the homeless

Okay, so today I went for a run. I know right? For those of you who knew me before this year, shocking. Me? For a run? On my own will? It's actually getting quite enjoyable for me. There's this nice park not far from my house: Wynona park or something? Any ways, it's got a little uphill, then a little down hill, a good distance to run its perimetre. If I want a long jog, train myself, two laps, if I'm tired or don't have much time, one lap.

Okay, getting WAY off topic. I was talking about giving money to this homeless guy. Okay, I was running, right? And I saw this homeless guy. I had two dollars, I figured what the heck, he needs it more than I do, so I give it to him. He takes it, nods it thanks. As I'm running back home, I start to think of the big question. It's not that the guy doesn't need money, God knows he does, but its' how you give him the money. Two dollars is not enough for crack, but maybe five is? Just a little bit? Then a good intension turns to a feeding of drugs. Well, I'll start small. two dollars, then give them a job. Okay, that's another goal!

Wait, we still haven't giving out the toques yet!! D'oh!!!!!!

Pic of the day:
D'oh!!!!!!!!!!!!

Virus warnings

On Chrome, they give you these virus warnings and tells you that the proceeding site that you are about to visit may give your computer a virus, spyware, or malware because it contains content from bla bla bla. And funnily enough, it always does that to my blog, so I'm always on edge about going onto my own blog!! Geez! It's because I post all the pic of the days and they're from sites that MIGHT have once distributed viruses. Well, I don't know, I got it from Google, and if anything, I still trust Google.

Pic of the day:
See? There you go!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BUSY!!!!!

Sorry for the fact that I haven't been posting, like at all this week, but I've got an excuse! I haven't came home before 6 o'clock this whole week, and before 5 o'clock for the last two months. You know that feeling: Bone tired. It's like when you want to find the next available area of land and let gravity to all its work because you have nothing left in you that you can use? That you just want to make sure that every part of your body has fallen on top of SOMETHING at all because you don't have energy to keep it suspended in air? I can barely lift my fingers typing this now.

But I'm fighting through it, proactive, not reactive. Strong, not weak. Determined, not frail.

Pic of the day:
I want to be the second one, and darn it, I am!!!

Bin Laden's dead?

What, what?? Oh, oh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, great timing, eve of Canadian election, two days after the royal wedding, wonder if someone did that on purpose...... I don't know, it's possible.

I'm currently waiting for Stephen Harper to speak as Prime Minister, because he might not be tomorrow, I hope he enjoys this moment.

You know what movie that really good? FAHRENHEIT 9/11!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MICHAEL MOORE IS A BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's awesome, and that movie is hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Though it doesn't put glitter to Bush's face, if you know what I mean. It great, I love his movies!!

9/11, 9/11, all Americans are so happy right now that Bin Laden's death, I wonder how they would feel if Bush dies. I mean, according to Fahrenheit 9/11, they should be also as happy. After all, many think that the Twin Towers was a collaboration.

Aha, my dad called me to turn on the TV, he saw at his work, and my mom just said that "he died", then I saw Obama, and I'm like "What?? He died????" but I saw the caption and it was like, oh thank god!!

Pic of the day:
Family Guy's Bin Laden, I think he's funnier than the real man.
